I grew up in Dublin, Ireland, but was lucky enough to spend most of my school holidays on a farm in North County Cork, and always felt a deep connection with the animals there.

I would spend hours and hours just sitting with the animals on that farm – dogs, cats, horses, hens, even sitting in with the sheep and cattle if I could find a cosy spot.  At the time, I just knew that I enjoyed being around them and that I loved their company, but looking back, I think what I really wanted, was to be able to understand them and to be accepted as one of them, rather than being the human “outsider”.   It took a long time, and several non-animal related careers, before I was ready to re-explore the depth of my relationships with animals. Finally, in 2008, a series of coincidences led me to the work of James French, a truly amazing teacher and pioneer in the field of animal healing and communication, and with whom I subsequently trained.

I am a qualified Animal Communication Practitioner (ACT2),  and in order to gain this qualification I was examined and assessed by a veterinarian, animal behaviourist, animal welfare professional and animal trainer. More recently, in 2015, I have qualified as a facilitator in Equine Assisted Learning, and will soon be offering sessions in EAL to clients in the Dublin/Wicklow area.

I am also a Reiki practitioner, practising Reiki healing for humans and animals. I am fully insured with Balens Insurance, and am also insured for home visits.
