Equine Assisted Learning

Equine Assisted Learning is becoming widely recognised as a valuable intervention that builds confidence and self-esteem, develops self-awareness and empathy, and teaches skills such as problem-solving, flexibility and co-operation.

No prior experience of horses is required and no riding is involved.  Equine Assisted Learning is effective for both children and adults and its value is increasingly being recognised by educationalists, mental health professionals, and those working in the field of social care.

As a Festina Lente-trained facilitator in Equine Assisted Learning I adhere to a high standard of equine welfare and ethics.  From 2016, I will be offering Equine Assisted Learning sessions in the Dublin/Wicklow area.
